Since 1974, Harlem Week has been an annual celebration of the best of Harlem, while promoting African American, Caribbean, African, and European history. The event also showcases arts, religion, culture, business, sports, music, and entertainment and draws hundreds of thousands of attendees each year. Meander through the shopping vendors and exhibits and celebrate the history and culture of Harlem during Harlem Week.
Caroline Spence - Thanks to her writing on human nature, Caroline Spence, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, rose to prominence in the folk and Americana scene. She joined the Rounder label and debuted with "Mint Condition" after receiving great acclaim from the Nashville songwriting community for her album Spades & Roses.
Meadowlands Racetrack Beer Fest - Raise your glasses at the Meadowlands Racetrack Beer Fest. This annual event will feature a variety of local and international brews, live music, and delicious food options for a day of fun and celebration.
Alfred Robles - The “Soul Agency” actor Alfred Robles is also an accomplished writer and comedian. Robles started his comedic career after he got kicked out of the police academy. He was part of "Comedy Central’s Live Fluffy Shop" tour from 2010 to 2011, opening for Gabriel Iglesias.
Béla Fleck and the Flecktones are a jazz-bluegrass band from the United States. When Béla Fleck was invited to appear on the PBS TV series The Lonesome Pine Specials in 1988, he founded the Flecktones. Fleck, on banjo, Victor Wooten, Roy Wooten, and Howard Levy were the initial members.
Bad Religion - The punk rock band Bad Religion was created in Los Angeles, California, in 1980. It gained major success when it became signed under Atlantic Records in 1993. They revived the punk rock music of the '90s. The only constant member of the group so far is Greg Graffin.
